SpinetiX Media Converter

Any video in, a file that plays cleanly on SpinetiX hardware out.

Problem

Content teams hand over video and image files never prepared for signage hardware: wrong codec, mismatched keyframes, interlaced footage, oversized 8K masters. These stutter, fail to loop cleanly, or will not play on a SpinetiX player.

What we built

A zero-install local tool (no Docker, no Python, no Node setup) with a drag-and-drop browser UI that fixes the six most common signage media errors: forces H.264 with one-second keyframe intervals, converts to yuv420p, downscales oversized masters to 4K, de-interlaces legacy footage, and re-encodes audio to AAC. The UI runs in nine languages including Arabic right-to-left.

Result

Distributed as a self-contained ZIP for Mac and Windows, so content teams and integrators prepare their own media without a specialist in the loop.
