Web Robot dashboard auto-login

Problem

Embedding a live BI dashboard on a signage screen is straightforward when it is public. Real dashboards sit behind a login, and that login screen usually renders on a different domain than the dashboard URL, which is where most manual attempts fail.

What we built

A recipe-authoring kit for the HMP400/W built-in Web Robot (CEF-based, firmware 4.5.0+): JSON recipes that auto-fill and submit login forms, click through consent popups and hide UI chrome, a codified method for identifying the host that serves the login form (verified against Tableau's two-hop SSO and Power BI's Microsoft login), and selector patterns for Angular Material, PrimeNG, MUI and Ant Design dashboards. An audit script flags any project folder where the iframe host and the recipe's saved-credential host differ.

Result

A dashboard embed survives a player reboot without anyone re-typing a password, built from a documented pattern.
