Problem
When a screen freezes, goes black, stutters or reboots randomly, the SpinetiX support tarball (spxreport-ext-*.tar.gz) is a dense, undocumented tree of logs: display negotiation, kernel messages, player engine logs, multiscreen config. Finding the cause by hand is slow and easy to get wrong, especially for the black-screen-with-playback-unaffected failure that looks like a content problem.
What we built
A mapped reading of the bundle, with the real paths for every relevant log: display config, per-connector EDID dumps, spxdispmanager negotiation, kernel i915/drm errors, raperca player.log, multiscreen master/slave settings in spxconfig.xml, and the Control Center backup. Paired with a deep-dive on the most common signature, EDID and hotplug chain breaks that fall back to 640×480: its exact log signatures, its causes (DDC/hotplug chain, cable length, HDBaseT extenders and LED processors that do not bridge EDID), and fixes on the player side (fixed-mode config) and the chain side (EDID emulator injection).
Result
A ranked root-cause analysis with concrete fixes from a raw diagnostic bundle in 5-10 minutes.
