Problem
LED video walls and portrait or ultrawide panels run resolutions no consumer display uses, so whether a given player will drive a wall, and whether a Novastar controller BOQ fits, are easy to get wrong on a spec sheet and expensive to get wrong after installation.
What we built
A calculation pipeline covering both sides of the problem: pixel-count and HDMI-feed planning (column and row split for walls wider than one HMP400 or iBX410 link, with the ≈8.3M px and 4096×2160@60 ceiling) plus LED controller and fibre-converter fit checks, and exact Pixel Clock Frequency computation for custom display-video-mode settings, including the corrected CVT-RB vertical-blanking table, where blanking lines grow with resolution and a flat estimate understates PCF by up to ~23% on tall rasters. It reads a vendor BOQ directly and flags mismatches, or starts from pitch and wall dimensions for a greenfield design.
Result
A BOQ-ready player count and controller-fit table produced in minutes.
