Polygon text ticker widget
Running text that follows the curve of a rounded panel.

Problem
A stock text-crawler widget only moves in a straight line, so text on a rounded decorative panel either ignores the panel's shape or has to sit inside a plain rectangle.
What we built
A custom SVG widget runs real vector text along a closed rounded-rectangle path, each glyph individually tangent to the curve so corners curve instead of the string turning 90 degrees. SpinetiX supports no textPath at any layer (confirmed against the SVG Tiny 1.2 profile, the wiki's added-features list and jSignage's source), so the widget uses animateMotion per glyph: one text element per character, each riding the same path with its own entry offset, still fully vector, with no pre-rendered bitmap.
Result
Running text that fits panel shapes stock widgets cannot, with a px/s speed control at constant velocity rather than framerate-dependent.
